PDFDocFuse uses a small number of cookies to make the site work. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell any data collected through cookies.
Cookies we always use

Cookies used only if the site owner has enabled them
These come from optional third-party features that aren't active by default:

Google Analytics / Tag Manager (_ga, _ga_*, etc.) | Aggregate traffic stats and which tools get used. Set only if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner, and removed if you later reject. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. |
pdfdocfuse_ref | Remembers which friend's invite link you opened, for up to 30 days, so they can be credited if you sign up. Only set if you accept optional cookies; otherwise the invite is remembered just for your current visit. |
pdfdocfuse_consent | Remembers your cookie choice (accepted or rejected) so we don't ask on every page. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Bot detection on signup/login, if the site owner has enabled reCAPTCHA in Settings. |
| Razorpay / Stripe checkout cookies | Set temporarily by the payment provider while you're completing a subscription purchase. |
Saved in your browser (not cookies)
These stay on your device and hold nothing but short tool names, timestamps and a code. Apart from the favorites copy kept for signed-in users (see below), they are never sent to us:

pdfdocfuse_fav | The tools you starred as favorites, so they can be shown at the top of the homepage. If you are signed in, a copy is also saved to your account so it follows you across devices. |
pdfdocfuse_fav_owner | Notes whether the saved favorites belong to a signed-out visitor or to an account (as an unreadable code, not your name), so one person's favorites are never shown to the next person on a shared computer. |
pdfdocfuse_recent | The last few tools you opened, for the "Recently used" row. |
pdfdocfuse_fb_* | Remembers that you already answered "Was this helpful?" for a tool, so you are not asked again for 30 days. |
Clear your browser's site data to remove them.
Visit statistics
Our own visit counting does not use cookies or any other storage on your device, and it is separate from Google Analytics, which only runs if you accept analytics cookies. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is recorded.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the session and pdf_guest cookies are required for the site's core tools to work — blocking them will break uploads and login.
