PDFDocFuse is a digital service. This page explains how cancelling works, when we refund a payment, and how to ask. It is part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancelling
Paid plans are one-time payments for one month or one year of access, and credit packs are one-time purchases of credits. Neither renews automatically and we never charge you again unless you choose to pay again. So there is nothing you need to cancel: if you do not pay again, your plan ends at the end of the month or year you paid for, and your account returns to the free plan. You keep paid features until that date.
If you would like your account and data deleted, email us at letstalk@pdfdocfuse.com from the address on your account.
2. When we give a refund
- Paid but not activated. Your payment succeeded but the plan was not switched on and we cannot fix it. Full refund.
- Duplicate or accidental payment. You were charged twice for the same plan period, or paid by mistake. Refund of the extra payment.
- Technical problems on our side. The paid features you bought were not usable because of a fault on our side that we could not resolve within 3 business days of your report. Full or part refund, depending on how long the service was affected.
- Credit packs. You may ask for a refund within 7 days of buying a credit pack. We refund the part of the pack that is still unused, in proportion to the credits left (for example, if you used 10 of 50 credits, we refund the price of the other 40). The price of credits already used is not refunded. A pack bought by mistake and not used at all is refunded in full.
- Changed your mind, within 7 days. You may ask for a refund within 7 days of the payment if you have not made substantial use of the paid features (for example, you have processed only a few files). This applies to a yearly payment in the same way: ask within 7 days of paying. If the plan has been heavily used, we may refund part of the amount or decline.
3. When we do not refund
- Requests made more than 7 days after the payment, other than the cases in section 2 above.
- A plan whose month has been substantially used, and credits that have already been used.
- Accounts closed or restricted for breaking our terms or the law.
- Results you were not happy with where the tool worked as described (for example a conversion that looks different from the original). Please contact us first: we often can fix it.
- Free-plan use, because nothing is charged.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email letstalk@pdfdocfuse.com from the address on your account (or use the Contact page) and tell us:
- the email address of your PDFDocFuse account,
- the date and amount of the payment, and the payment or order ID if you have it (it is also shown in your billing history),
- the reason for the request.
We reply within 2 business days. If the refund is approved we start it straight away.
5. How and when you get the money back
Refunds go back to the original payment method (the card, UPI account, bank account or PayPal account you paid with), in the same currency you paid in. Once we have approved a refund it normally reaches you within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We cannot speed this up after it has been issued. If you have not received it after 10 business days, contact us with the refund details and we will follow it up with the payment provider.
If your plan was activated and a refund is issued, the account returns to the free plan from the date of the refund.
6. Payment failed but money was debited
Sometimes a bank takes the money but the payment is not completed. In that case the payment provider normally returns the amount automatically within 5 to 7 business days. If your plan did not activate and you have not been refunded after that time, email us with the payment details and we will sort it out.
7. Disputes and chargebacks
If something is wrong with a payment, please write to us first. We would much rather fix it or refund you directly than have a dispute raised with your bank, which takes longer for everyone.
