1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and PDFDocFuse ("we", "us"). They apply when you visit www.pdfdocfuse.com, create an account, or use any of our tools or our API. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

2. The service
PDFDocFuse provides online tools to convert, merge, split, compress, edit, sign, protect and otherwise process PDF and other documents, with optional paid features such as OCR, batch processing, cloud-storage connections and a developer API. Features, limits and plans are described on our Pricing page. We may add, change or retire tools, and tools marked as coming soon are not yet available.
3. Accounts
You can use many tools without an account. To keep files, manage a plan or use paid features you need an account. You may sign in with a password, an emailed one-time code, or a supported third-party sign-in (Google or Facebook), which shares only your name and email address with us.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate information and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or use the service with a parent or guardian's permission.
4. Your files
You keep all rights to the files you upload. You give us permission to process them only to deliver the result you asked for. We do not sell your files, share them for advertising, or use them to train models. Files are deleted automatically after the retention period of your plan: 24 hours on the Free plan and 30 days on paid plans. Some tools send the file you choose to a trusted processing partner to do the conversion; our Privacy Policy lists them. You are responsible for keeping your own copies, as we cannot guarantee that a file will always be recoverable.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: upload files you have no right to process; use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights; upload malware or try to disrupt, probe or overload the service; bypass plan limits or security measures; resell the service or share paid access with people outside your own use unless a plan says you may; or use automated means to access the service other than through our official API with a valid key. We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules.
6. Plans, prices and payment
Free plan. The Free plan costs nothing. It currently allows 10 files a day and files up to 25 MB, and may change over time.
Paid plans. Paid plans are listed with their monthly (and, where offered, yearly) prices on the Pricing page. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) for payments made through Razorpay (UPI, cards and netbanking) and in US dollars (USD) for payments made through Stripe or PayPal. The amount you pay is shown at checkout before you confirm.
One payment, one period, no auto-renewal. Each payment buys either one month or one year of access (as you choose at checkout, where yearly is offered) to the plan you chose, starting when the payment is confirmed. This is the same on every payment method (Razorpay, Stripe and PayPal). We do not store your card details and we do not renew automatically or charge you again unless you choose to pay again. If you pay again before your plan ends, the new period is added after your current end date, so no paid days are lost.
When a plan ends. When the paid month or year ends, your account returns to the Free plan. Your account and any files still within the retention period are kept; paid features and higher limits stop until you renew.
Payment providers. Payments are handled by Razorpay, Stripe and PayPal under their own terms and security standards. If a payment fails or is declined, no plan is activated and you have not been charged by us. If money was taken but your plan did not activate, contact us and we will fix it or arrange a refund.
Price changes. We may change prices for future payments. A change never affects a month you have already paid for.
Credit packs. If you reach your plan's daily limit you can buy a credit pack to keep going instead of upgrading. Each credit covers one extra file (or one extra Developer API call) beyond the daily limit. Credit packs and their prices are shown on your billing page after you sign in. A credit pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it is paid for once and never renews. Credits are added to your account when the payment is confirmed, belong to that account only (they cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash), are used one at a time only after your plan's daily limit is used up, and currently do not expire. Only signed-in accounts can hold credits. Refunds for credit packs are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Because plans do not renew automatically, there is nothing to cancel: you simply do not pay again, and your plan ends at the end of the paid month. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Delivery
PDFDocFuse is an online service. Nothing is shipped. Paid access and credits are added to your account electronically once payment is confirmed, and the results of a tool are delivered as a download in your browser. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
9. Launch offers and promotions
From time to time we may unlock extra features for everyone, or give bonus days, for a limited period. These are gifts, not a promise that they will continue, and they can end at the date shown or earlier if abused.
10. Our content and your feedback
The site, its design, tools and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use them as the service allows, but not copy or reverse-engineer them. If you send us feedback or ideas we may use them freely without paying you.
11. Third-party services
The service connects to services we do not control, such as payment providers, sign-in providers, cloud storage you choose to connect, and document-processing partners. Your use of those is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for how they operate.
12. Disclaimers
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Conversions, OCR and other automated results can contain errors, so please check important documents before relying on them. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and nothing here is legal, financial or professional advice.
13. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you have not paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Suspension and ending these terms
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example ownership, liability and disputes) continue after the account ends.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we cannot settle a dispute by talking, it will be decided by the competent courts in India. Please contact us first at letstalk@pdfdocfuse.com, as most problems can be solved quickly that way.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above shows when. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or on the site. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
