  3. If the text is the wrong size or in the wrong place, drag it to where it belongs and resize it to fit the space.
  4. Add anything else you need: highlight a passage, draw a rectangle or a line, or place a signature.
  5. Move between pages with the arrows to edit other pages.
  6. Click "Save & Download" to get the edited PDF.

Filling in a form that has no fillable fields

Many PDF forms are only a picture of a form: there are no boxes you can click and type into. With Add Text you place your answers on top of the page exactly where they belong, which works on any PDF, fillable or not.

What you can and cannot change

  • You can add text, highlights, rectangles, lines, freehand drawings and a signature, and number the pages.
  • The editor puts new content on top of the page. It does not rewrite the words that are already there.
  • To replace existing wording, add your new text where you want it and size it to fit the space.

Privacy

The page is rendered in your own browser. Your PDF is sent to our server only when you press Save & Download, because that is when the edits have to be written into the file. Files are removed automatically after 24 hours on the free plan.

Can I change the size of the text I added?

Yes. Select the text and resize it to fit the space it needs to sit in.

Yes. Editing needs no signup and adds no watermark, within the free plan's daily limit.
