Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a quotation, an estimate and a proforma invoice?
A quotation is a fixed price offer. An estimate is an approximate price that may change. A proforma invoice is a preliminary bill sent before the goods or service, often to ask for an advance or for customs and bank use. It is not a tax invoice. Choose the type at the top of the form; the layout is the same.
Can I add GST?
Yes. Choose "GST (CGST + SGST)" for a sale inside your state or "IGST" for a sale to another state, and give each item its tax rate. Choose "No tax" if you do not charge GST.
Is my data stored?
No. The quotation is built inside your browser and never sent to our server. If you tick "Remember my business details", they stay only on your own device.
